Bu çalışmada kültür varlıklarını tanıma ve sahip çıkma bilincinin oluşmasında, hazırlanan ders planlarının uygulanabilirliği ve güvenirliğini ölçebilmek için, bir başarı testi ve tutum ölçeği geliştirmek amaç edinilmiştir. Bu kapsamda İlköğretim 7. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin kültür varlıklarını tanıma ve sahip çıkmaya yönelik başarı düzeyleri ve tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Başarı testinin geliştirilmesi aşamasındaki ön uygulamalar, daha önce bu ünitelerin konularını öğrenmiş olan bir üst sınıf öğrencileri üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Başlangıçta 49 maddelik olan erişi testi, Malatya Merkez Yeşiltepe Ahmet Parlak İlköğretim Okulu (168 öğrenci) ve Malatya Merkez Yaşar Öncan İlköğretim Okulu’nda (36 Öğrenci) toplam 204 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Ön deneme sonucunda testin R-20 güvenirlik katsayısı 0, 57 olarak bulunmuştur. Beş dereceli likert tipi “Kültür Varlıklarını Tanıma ve Sahip Çıkma Bilinci ile İlgili Tutum Ölçeği” deneme formunda kullanılan 44 maddeden hangilerinin işlendiğini belirlemek için, madde toplam test korelasyonuna bakılmıştır. Bunun sonucunda nihai ölçekte kullanılacak 21 madde tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeğin deneme formu Malatya Merkez Yeşiltepe Ahmet Parlak İlköğretim Okulu’nda (182 öğrenci) ve Yaşar Öncan İlköğretim Okulu’nda (52 öğrenci) olmak üzere toplam 234 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Oluşturulan ölçeğin tümü için madde toplam test korelasyonu Cronbach’s Alpha değeri .78 olarak belirlenmiştir ( p> .60).

The purpose of this study was to develop an achievement test and an attitude scale to test applicability and reliability of the lesson plans prepared to raise the awareness of recognizing and protecting the cultural entities. In this respect it was aimed at determining the achievement levels and attitudes of primary students at 7th grade about recognizing and protecting the cultural entities. The prior pilot studies to develop the test and the scale were conducted on eighth graders who already studied the topics of the relevant unit. The initial form of the achievement test, which included 49 items, was administered on 204 students from Yeşiltepe Ahmet Parlak Primary school (168 students) and Yaşar Öncan Primary School (36 students) in Malatya city center. The R-20 reliability coefficient of the test was found as 0, 57 as a result of the pilot study. In order to find the functional items among the 44 items in the trial form of 5-point Likert type “Attitude Scale on Recognizing and protecting the Cultural Entities”, item-total correlations were estimated. As a result of this estimation, 21 items to be used in the final form of the scale were determined. The trial for of the scale was administered on 234 students from Yeşiltepe Ahmet Parlak Primary school (182 students) and Yaşar Öncan Primary School (52 students) in Malatya city center. The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient for item-total correlation for the final scale was estimated as .78 ( p> .60).
