Bu çalışma tarih öğretmeni adaylarının akademik sahtekarlık eğilim düzeylerini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya tarih öğretmenliği bölümünden 97 öğrenci katılmıştır. Bu çalışmada Eminoğlu (2008) tarafından geliştirilen ve geçerlik güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılan “Akademik Sahtekârlık Eğilimi Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin anne ve baba eğitim düzeylerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık saptanmamıştır. Öğrencilerin cinsiyetlerine, sınıf düzeylerine ve algılanan başarı düzeylerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık saptanmıştır.

Evaluation of tendency towards academic dishonesty levels of history teacher candidates. This aim of this study is to investigate tendency towards academic dishonesty levels of history teacher candidates. The sample consisted of 97 undergraduate students attending to history teacher department. In this study, ”Tendency towards Academic Dishonesty Scale” developed and tested for validity and reliability by Eminoğlu (2008) was used. Results indicated that no significant differences were found in tendency towards academic dishonesty levels of teacher candidates in terms of mother and father education level. On the other hand, significant differences were found in tendency towards academic dishonesty levels of teacher candidates in terms of gender, class level, and perceived academic dishonesty.
