In this research the relationship between people calendar and
temperature characteristics were studied. In this study, daily temperature datum
from Edirne meteorological station and the public calender information which is
taken Uzunköprü centre and its sample villages were used.
People's life experience throughout hundred years gives very true
results about climatic characteristics. Very strong relation are determined
between period characteristics in the people calendar and results of temperature
analysis. For that reason, during the research of climatic characteristics
anywhere, people calender datum must be used whith the analysis results.
