İpek Yolu, tarihin en eski ticaret yollarından biridir ve onun sayesinde tarihte birçok devlet ekonomik faaliyetlerde bulunmuştur. Ayrıca ipek yolunun sağladığı imkân ile farklı kültürler birbirinden sosyal, siyasi, askeri, dini açılardan etkilenmiştir. Zira o tarihlerde Doğuyu Batı ile buluşturan en önemli güzergâh ipek yolu güzergâhıydı. Bu güzergâhın çok farklı coğrafyaları kapsaması etki alanını alabildiğine genişletmiştir. Güzergâhın içinde Anadolu da mevcuttu. Bu nedenle günümüzde üzerinde yaşadığımız coğrafyanın tarihi geçmişinde İpek Yolu önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Belirtilen nedenlerle İpek Yolu tarihinin öğretimi günümüzde üzerinde durulması gereken önemli noktalardan biridir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada İpek Yolu tarihinin öğretimine ilişkin teknoloji, proje ve müze temelli yeni yaklaşım örnekleri incelenmiştir.

The Silk Road is one of the oldest trade road in the history and many historical states benefitted from it economically. Besides, different cultures were impressed by each other in some ways such as social, political, military and religious via the Silk Road. And also, what the East and the West associates is the Silk Road. In addition, the itinerary of the Silk Road which has much different geography has enhanced its impact area. The Anatolia is in the Silk Road itinerary, too. And therefore, the Silk Road is so valuable in the historical development of the today’s geography. On the other hand, old Turkish states had fought for the domain of the Silk Road for a long time. The Silk Road had influenced on a lot of states in the long period of the history. Teaching about the history of the Silk Road is one of the significant points that need to be emphasized today because of the declared reasons. Therefore, new approach examples have been analyzed based on technology, project and museum relating to teaching about the history of the Silk Road.
