The author tries to analyze the humanistic features of the information society, determining the place of the individual, including the doctor’s personality in the new conditions. Attention is drawn to the fact that the person in front of a choice problem, implementation of which attempt to give an opportunity to demonstrate a personality and personal identity, which fully applies to the doctor’s personality. Analyzed socialization process of medicine, the degree of its impact on different spheres of society. In the article, considerable attention is given the basic problems of the individual in the information society: interpersonal problems and changes the inner world of person; valuable orientations of the person, including a doctor; information and information-psychological security; personal integrity in the Information Society and the problem of medicalization.
Attention is drawn to the fact that in modern conditions there are some changes in the inte-raction of medicine and society. Increasing trend of critical reflection concerning the total medical dictation. The monopoly on the problem traditional medicine "health / disease" non-classical is destroyed by its variants.
The author makes an attempt to define the role of a doctor in a modern information society.

В статье сделана попытка анализа гуманис-тических особенностей информационного общества, определения места личности, в том числе личности врача, в новых условиях. Анализируется процесс социализации медицины, степень ее влияния на разные сферы жизнедеятельности общества. В статье существенное внимание отводится основным проб-лемам личности в информационном обществе: проблемам межличностного общения и изменений во внутреннем мире человека; ценностных ориентаций личности, в том числе врача; информационной и информационно-психологической безопасности; сво-бода личности в информационном обществе и проблема медикализации.
