In this study, a questionnaire that was prepared to determine the
opinions of the secondary school teachers about the curriculum design and the
behaviors that the teachers show in the processes of the planning,
implementation, evaluation, and improvement of the curriculum design was
applied to 332 teachers chosen randomly.
According to the results of the study, the teachers' knowledge about the
curriculum design and planning, implementation, evaluation and improvement of the curriculum design processes are not sufficient level. Besides, the behaviors
shown at the processes are also insufficient level.
To remove deficiencies of the teachers' knowledge and behaviors about
the curriculum design processes need analysis is made, curriculum designs are
prepared in terms of these analyses, and teachers are taken into the learning
process by degrees.
