Bu araştırmanın amacı, posterler kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen öğrenme ve öğretme etkinliklerinin, öğrencilerin akademik başarıları ve derse yönelik tutumları üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. 2014–2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında 5. Sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 40 öğrenci ile yürütülen bu araştırmada, öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Deney grubundaki öğrencilere öğretmen kılavuz kitabındaki uygulamalara ek olarak poster hazırlama ve hazırladıkları posterleri sunma görevleri verilmiştir. Araştırma sosyal bilgiler dersinde haftada 3 saat olmak üzere 12 ders saatini kapsayan süre içerisinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrencilere program öncesinde ve sonrasında akademik başarı testi ile tutum ölçeği, öntest-sontest olarak uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, her grup için aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma hesaplanmış olup gruplar arasındaki anlamlılığı test etmek için t-testi ve tek faktör üzerinde tekrarlı ölçümler için iki faktörlü anova testi kullanılmıştır. Tüm analizlerde. 05 anlamlılık düzeyi temel alınmıştır.
Araştırmanın sonucunda, Posterler kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen öğretim etkinliklerinin öğrencilerinin akademik başarılarını ve derse yönelik tutumlarını deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir şekilde arttırdığı bulunmuştur.

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of learning and teaching activities carried out using posters,
on the academic achievement of students and their attitudes towards the course. Experimental pretest-posttest
control group design was used in this study conducted with totally 40 fifth grade students in the 2014-2015
academic years. The students in the experimental group were given the task of preparation of posters and
presenting the posters prepared by them in addition to the activities in the teacher‟s guide book. The study
was carried out in time of 12 hours including 3 hours per week for social studies lesson. Before and after the
program, academic achievement test and attitude scale as pretest-posttest were applied to the students. In
analyzing the data, the mean and the standard deviation were calculated for each group and t-test was used in
order to test the significance between the groups. Additionally two-factor anova test for repeated measures
one one factor was utilized. For all analyses the 0.5 significance level was held as basis. As a result of the
research, it was found that the teaching activities, carried out using posters, increased the students‟ academic
achievements and attitudes toward courses in favor of the experimental group.
