Kur’ân-ı Kerim ve sahip olduğu çeşitli özellikler, divan şairleri tarafından şiirlerde sıkça dile getirilmiştir. Kur’ân-ı Kerim’deki bazı ayetler ve ayetlerdeki kelimeler, peygamberlerin isimleri, bunların başından geçen olaylar ve gösterdikleri mucizeler ile sure isimleri divan şairleri tarafından şiirlere kaynak olarak kullanılmıştır. Şairler, Kur’ân’da adı geçen 114 sure ve bunların sahip oldukları çeşitli özellikleri çeşitli şiirlerde bölümler hâlinde veya beyitlerde dile getirdikleri gibi bunları müstakil şiirlere de konu etmişlerdir. Genellikle suveri’l-Kur’ân adıyla anılan ve sure isimlerinin daha çabuk öğrenilmesi için manzum veya mensur şekilde kaleme alınan bu türden şiirlerin sayısı edebiyatımızda oldukça sınırlıdır. Daha önce klasik Türk edebiyatında bu türde Latîfî, Şeyhülislam Yahya, Seyyid Muhammed ve Şakir Ahmet Paşa gibi şairlerin bu türde örnekler verdikleri bilinmektedir. Hayatı hakkında kaynaklarda bilgi bulunmayan Dâ’î de bu türden eser kaleme alan şairlerden biridir.
Bu çalışmada, Dâ’î’nin 51 beyitten müteşekkil olan Suveri’l-Kur’ân’ının şekil ve muhteva özellikleri üzerinde durularak tespit edilebilen tek nüshasından hareketle metnin çeviri yazısına yer verilmiştir.

The Quran itself and the various characteristics it has were mentioned frequently in the poems of divan
poets. Some verses in the holy Quran and the words in these verses, the names of the prophets, the incidents
that happened to these prophets and the miracles they showed as well as the names of the surahs were used
as a valuable source by the divan poets. As they, the divan poets, reflected the 114 surahs mentioned in the
holy Quran and various characteristics that these surahs have in several poems in chapters or in couplets,
they also mentioned them in individual poems. The number of such poems generally called as suveri’l-Quran
that were written in verse or in prose in order for the names of the surahs to be learned much more quickly is
quite limited in our literature. It is known that such literary genres were written by poets such as Latifi,
Şeyhülislam Yahya, Seyyid Muhammed and Şakir Ahmet Pasha in classical Turkish literature in the past. Da’i
about whom there is not much information in the sources is also one of the poets that wrote such works in
this genre.
In this study, the translation of the literary text with reference to one individual copy by focusing on the
genre and content characteristics of Suveri’l-Kur’ân which is composed of 51 couplets written by Da’i is given
place.
