Обоснована важность наличия стабильного инвестиционного климата для формирования позитивного имиджа страны, необходимого для привлечения вливания
капитала со стороны зарубежных транснациональных компаний (ТНК). Проанализированы особенности привлечения прямых иностранных инвестиций в Украину на базе данных о динамике иностранного инвестирования в экономику нашего государства и сравнения с показателями других стран мира. Проведены исследования отраслевой структуры прямых
иностранных инвестиций и определены тенденции, характерные для основных видов экономической деятельности. Рассмотрены критерии, по которым Украина является привлекательной для деятельности ТНК, а также учтены факторы, снижающие конкурентные
преимущества. Обоснована необходимость изучения всех аспектов инвестиционной деятельности ТНК с целью создания надлежащих условий для привлечения в отечественную экономику зарубежных инвестиций на взаимовыгодных условиях.

In this article is proved the importance of existence of stable investment climate for formation of the positive image of the country, which is necessary for attraction of capital injection from foreign multinational corporations. The features of attraction of direct foreign investments to Ukraine are analysed on the database of dynamics of foreign investment into economy of our country and comparison with indicators of other world countries. Researches of branch structure of direct foreign investments are conducted and tendencies, which describe the main types of economic activity, are defined. Criteria by which Ukraine is attractive to activity of multinational corporations as well as the factors reducing competitive advantages are considered. Necessity of studying of all aspects of investment activity of multinational corporations for the purpose of creation of appropriate conditions for attraction of foreign investments in domestic economy is proved.
