In the article, author analyzed the state and development trends of engineering in international scientific and technological exchange system. The basic forms of technology transfer were identified, top leading engineering companies and universities in the global technology market were detected. The main approaches to Ukraine involvement in the international scientific and technological exchange system were defined.
