The paper conducted a systematic analysis and implementation of classification of information systems and automated control systems. Established contradiction between modern needs for effective management of the production of fertilizers and insufficient development of methods to create a simulation, energy saving methods based on solving optimization problems of information protection, automated process control production of mineral fertilizers. Therefore justified the need for the establishment of information technology for optimal process control the production of mineral fertilizers.
