Bu makalede, Gevherî Dîvanı’ndan yola çıkılarak sevgilinin tasvirinde başvurulan dini unsurlar ele alınıp işlenecektir. Öncesinde dinin sanat, kadın ve edebiyat ile olan ilişkisi ile şiir diline değinilecek olan metinde, Gevherî hakkında kısa bilgilendirme de mevcuttur. Sanatıyla ve yarattıklarıyla tek bir şeye işaret eden yaratıcının, âşıklarca şiirlere konu edildiğinde de ortaya konulanın yaşanan ve inanılan olduğu aşikârdır.

In this paper, religious elements used in the depictions of beauty of the beloved will be examined through the Divan of Gevherî. It focuses on how religion is related to art, the female and literature as well as the language of poetry, and there is brief information about Gevherî as well. When God, who points at one single thing with his art and his creation, becomes a subject-matter for the poets, what is manifested is obviously what is experienced and believed.
