Bu arastırma, 2004–2005 eğitim öğretim yılında, Kütahya (Merkez) ilindeki liselerde biyoloji 1 dersi öğretiminde laboratuvar uygulamalarının yeterli olup olmadığını öğretmen görüsleri doğrultusunda tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıstır. Bu amaçla, arastırma alanındaki biyoloji laboratuvarı bulunan genel (klasik) liseler, meslek liseleri, Anadolu ve Fen liselerinde görev yapan biyoloji öğretmenleri ile yapılan anket sonuçları değerlendirilmistir. Biyoloji dersi laboratuvar uygulamalarında mevcut eksikliklerin ve sorunların kaynaklarının ortaya çıkarılmasında arastırmanın önemli bir basamak olacağı düsünülmüstür. Kütahya (Merkez) Dlinde bulunan genel (klasik) liselerde, meslek liselerinde, Anadolu ve Fen lisesinde görev yapan biyoloji öğretmenleri çalısma örneklemi seçilmistir. Çalısma örnekleminin belirlenmesinde okullarda laboratuvar bulunup bulunmama durumu dikkate alınmıstır. Bu belirleme sonucunda biyoloji laboratuvarı bulunan okullarda görev yapan biyoloji öğretmenlerine veri toplama aracı uygulanmıstır.

Abstract This research, in academic year 2004-2005, Kütahya (Center) 1 course in the teaching of biology in high school in the province of laboratory practices sufficient to determine whether the teachers in line with comments made for the purpose. To this end, research in the field of general biology lab (classic) high schools, vocational high schools in the Anatolian and science high school biology teacher who served with the survey results were evaluated. Biology laboratory practices and problems of the current lack of resources occur is thought to be an important step of research. Kütahya (Center) in the province overall (classic) high schools, vocational high schools, Anatolian high schools and science high school biology teacher working in the study sample was selected. In determining whether the sample in the laboratory studies in schools were taken into account absence status. This determination results in the biology lab in the school biology teacher who served in the data collection tool was applied.
