Bu çalışmada Türk eğitim sisteminin değişmesiyle birlikte, 2014-2015 yılında Hayat Bilgisi dersinden ayrılan Fen Bilimleri dersi öğretim programına ilişkin 3. sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada daha önce 3.sınıf Hayat Bilgisi dersini okutmuş ve okutmakta olan 3.sınıf öğretmenleri ile çalışılmıştır. Tarama modeliyle yürütülen çalışmada verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen açık uçlu 5 soru öğretmenlere yöneltilmiş ve cevaplar kayıt cihazıyla kaydedilip görüşmeler yazılı hale getirilmiştir. Araştırma sonunda, öğretmenlerin yenilenen Fen Bilimleri dersi öğretim programına ilişkin görüşlerinin genel anlamda olumlu olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Fakat bununla birlikte ders saatinin ve kazanım sayılarının azaltılması, çalışma kitabının eklenmesi ve materyal yetersizliği gibi eksiklerden bahsettikleri tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the teachers’s views related to the science class curriculum which was separated from social studies class in 2014-2015 academic years with the change of the education system of Turkey. The study has been conducted with the teachers who gave 3rd grade social studies class before and with the 3rd grade teachers who currently gives the social studies class. To analyse the data, descriptive analysis was used in this correlational survey. 5 open-ended questions developed by the researchers were asked to the teachers and the answers were recorded with a recorder and the interviews were put in writing. As a result of the study, it was determined that the views of the teachers related to the renewed science class curriculum are generally positive. However, it was also determined that the teachers talk about shortcomings such as decreasing the weekly course hours and the number of acquisitions, adding a workbook and lack of material.
