В статье определена сущность инвестиционной деятельности страховых компаний. Рассмотрены особенности осуществления инвестиционной деятельности страховыми компаниями. Обоснованы основные проблемы инвестиционной деятельности страховых компаний и предложены возможные пути их решения. Определен вклад страхового сектора экономики в формировании инвестиционных ресурсов. Предложены направления совершенствования государственного регулирования инвестиционной деятельности страховых компаний в Украине.
