Tarih bilinci ve mekân ilişkisi bağlamında mekâna aidiyet duygusu, ortak bir geçmişe sahip olma, aynı zihniyet ve fikir etrafında birleşme, tarih ve kültür birliği gibi unsurlar ele alındığında, tarih bilinci ile mekânın bir ilişkisi olduğu değerlendirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, yaşanılan tarihsel mekânın tarih bilinci ile ilişkisinin olup olmadığını araştırmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplamak için tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak seçilen 28 lisedeki 2.060 öğrenci ile uygulama yapılmış, 1.703 öğrenciden dönüt alınmıştır. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin tarih bilincinin orta düzeyde olduğu, tarihsel mekâna ilgisinin ise yüksek düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin tarih bilinci ile tarihsel mekâna ilgisi arasında bir ilişki bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, tarih bilinci düşük olan öğrencilerin tarihsel mekâna ilgisinin düşük olduğu; tarih bilinci yüksek olan öğrencilerin, tarihsel mekâna ilgisinin de paralel olarak yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

When the factors such as state of belonging, sharing a common past, coming together with same mentality and ideas, historical and cultural unity are considered in terms of the relationship between historical place and historical consciousness, it is considered that there is a relationship between historical place and historical consciousness. This study is aimed to research the relationship between historical consciousness and historical place. Survey design was used in the study to collect data. 2.060 selected students by using the simple random sampling method in 28 schools participated the work and the feedbacks were received from 1.703 students. In accordance with the data obtained, it was determined that the historical consciousness of the students was at medium level and their interest in historical place was at high level. Moreover, it was determined that there is a relationship between students’ historical consciousness and their interest in historical place. As a result, if the students’ level of historical consciousness is low, their interest in historical place is low; interest in historical regions is low and if the history conscious and interest in historical region of the students is high, his/her interest in historical regions is high in a parallel way.
