Şeyh Bedreddin’in (ö.1420) müritlerinden olan Yėgen Mahmûd tarafından yazılan Envâru’l-Kulûb, İslamın temel esaslarını
anlatan mensur bir akâid-nâmedir. Eser; “Allah, Kur'ân-ı Kerîm, hurûf-ı mukatta’ât, Hz. Muhammed, iman, namaz, zikir, akıl,
nefis ve vesile” olmak üzere on bâbdan oluşur. Her bâb, yazar tarafından ilgili ayetlerin tefsiri yapılarak açıklanmıştır.
Harekeli nesihle 187 varak, 15 satırdan oluşan eserin yazarı Yėgen Mahmûd hakkında kaynaklarda bir bilgiye
rastlanılmamıştır. Aynı şekilde eserin telif/istinsah tarihi hakkında da bir bilgi yoktur. Kaynaklarda herhangi bir bilgiye
rastlanılmamışsa da yazarın şeyhinin Şeyh Bedreddin olmasından hareketle eserin 15. yüzyılda yazıldığını söylemek
mümkündür.
Envâru’l-Kulûb, harekeli bir Eski Anadolu Türkçesi metni olma özelliğiyle Eski Anadolu Türkçesinin yazım ve dil hususiyetlerini
göstermektedir.
Bu çalışmadaki amacımız Envâru’l-Kulûb adlı mensur akâid-nâmeyi tanıtmak ve yazıldığı dönemin yazım ve dil özelliklerini
örneklerle ortaya koymaktır.

Envâr al-Kulûb, written in the 15th century by Yėgen Mahmud, one of the disciples of Sheikh Bedreddin (died in 1420) it is a
prose that explains the basic Islam Beliefs. Manuscript consists of ten sections, including Allah, Quran, abbreviated letters,
Hz. Mohammed, faith, prayer, dhikr, mind, human soul, means. Each chapter is explained by the author by commenting the
related Quran sentences. There was no information about the writer Yėgen Mahmûd written in naskh with vowel point 187
leaves and 15 lines. In the same way, there is no information about the date of the writing and rewriting of manuscript.
Although no information was found in the sources, it is possible to say that manuscript was written in the 15th century, as
the sheikh of the author was Sheikh Bedreddin (died 1420). Manuscript is important in that it is written by the students of
Sheikh Bedreddin, one of the religious and politically prominent personalities of the 14th- 15th centuries, and places the
main religious-mystical issues in its content. Manuscript gives information about both the religious-mystical understanding
of the period and the views that have formed around Sheikh Bedreddin. Envâr al-Kulûb shows the spelling and language
characteristics of the Old Anatolian Turkic with the feature of being a with vowel point Old Anatolian Turkish text. Our aim in
this study is to introduce Envâr al-Kulûb which is a prose that explains the basic Islam beliefs and reveal the spelling and
language characteristics of the written text.
