Engelliler spor eğitimi, beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin yapmış oldukları çalışmalara biraz daha sorumluluklar getirerek hem çok yönlü çalışma mecburiyeti getirmiş, hem de bu konuda uzmanlaşmanın önemini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Özellikle gecikerek başlayan engellilerin spor eğitimi, beden eğitimi öğretmeninin çalışma faaliyetinin biçim ve içeriğini de değişmiştir.
Engelliler spor eğitiminde problemlerin öğrenilmesi, öğretmenin yaptığı görevi sevmesi, mesleğinden memnun olması, hedefin iyi belirlenmesi ve öğretme tekniğinin iyi seçilmesi önemlidir. Eğitimle engelli öğrencilerin fizik özellikleri geliştikçe vücut kompozisyonu biçimlenir, kendi kendine beden eğitimi araçları ile uğraşma inanç ve alışkanlıkları oluşur.
Bu çalışma engelli eğitiminde mesleki statü, çalışmanın içeriği, biçimi, ayırt edici niteliği, alanı, hedefi, fonksiyonu ve araçları konularına vurgu yapmaktadır.

Handicapped sport training has given some responsibilitions to the physical education teachers and obligation for studying versatile. And it has also clarified the importance of becoming a specialist on this subject. Handicapped sport training which was started late changed formand content of the studying activities of the physical education teachers.
These are very important for the handicapped sport training the problems should be well known, the forgets should be aimed well, teaching methods have to be chosen well, and also the teacher must love his/her profession. Physical pecularities of the handicapped students improve by education and as a result of this, body composition is formed, and they are determined to deal with the physical education equipments.
This study emphasizes professional statue for the handicapped training, content, from, separeting pecularity, field, aim,function and means events of study.
