В статье изложены актуальные вопросы и проблемы правового положения осужденных к лишению свободы. Раскрыто понятие правового статуса осужденных и его особенности. При этом перечислены виды гарантий реализации прав, свобод и обязанности осужденных к лишению свободы. Все рассуждения и выводы подтверждаются ссылкой на нормативно-правовую базу регламентации положения осужденных.
Также проанализировано состояние проблемы правового положения осужденных к лишению свободы, с акцентом на правовое положение отдельных категорий осужденных. Кроме того, раскрыты проблемы и направления совершенствования законодательства о правовом статусе осужденных к лишению свободы.

The article describes the current issues and problems of legal regulations of persons sentenced to deprivation of liberty. The concept of legal status of convicted persons and its features. When it lists the types of GA-ranti the realization of rights, freedoms and obligations of persons sentenced to deprivation of liberty. All reasoning and conclusions reference to the normative framework regulating the situation of prisoners.
Also analyzes the problems of the legal status of persons sentenced to deprivation of liberty, with an emphasis on the legal status of certain categories of convicted persons. In addition, it reveals problems and directions of improvement of the legislation on the legal status of persons sentenced to deprivation of liberty.
