Fen Bilimleri içerisinde yer alan konuların soyut ve kompleks oluşu, öğretimin
somut materyallerle desteklenmesi ihtiyacını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu amaçla
kullanılan araçlardan birisi olan modellerin öğrenmeye olan etkisi araştırmanın konusunu
oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; İlköğretim 5. Sınıf Öğrencilerinde
“Sindirim ve Görevli Yapılar”, “Boşaltım ve Görevli Yapılar” ve “Çiçekli Bir Bitkiyi
Tanıyalım” Konularının Modelle Öğretiminin Öğrenci Başarısına Etkilerinin araştırılmasıdır.

Since the subjects within the field of Natural Sciences are complex and
abstract, the necessity of supporting education with concrete materials has been
emerged. The effects of modeling on education which is one of the tools used for this
purpose makes up the subject of this research. The aim of this study is to research
effects of model-teaching of “Digestion and Scructures in Charge”,”Excretion and
Scructures in Charge” and “Lets Recognize a Flowery Plant” Subjects on the
Success of Students in the 5th Grade of Primary Education.
