Современное понимание прав ребенка исходит из признания ценности детства как особого, значимого и совершенно необходимого периода в жизни каждого человека. В статье освещении основные принципы защиты правд ребенка, установленные в международно-правовых актах, а именно в Конвенции о правах ребенка 1989 г. и Декларации прав ребенка 1959 года. Раскрыто место этих принципов в национальном законодательстве Украины.

Modern understanding of the rights of the child proceeds from the recognition of the value of childhood as a special, significant and absolutely necessary period in the life of every person. The article highlights the basic principles of protecting the child's truth, established in international legal instruments, namely the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child and the 1959 Declaration of the Rights of the Child. The place of these principles is revealed in the national legislation of Ukraine.
