Simgesel sistemiyle görünür olan dil, onu kullanan bireyin evrene ve ögelerine bakışını, düşünüş biçimini sunar ve böylelikle
toplumu seslendirerek ve topluma seslenerek yaşama eşlik eder. Anlamı inşa eden insan, dili konuşarak onu yeniden
üretmiş olur. Bu da ancak dilsel göstergeler yoluyla gerçekleşebilmektedir. Sesin söze dönüşmesiyle gösterdiği şey; söylenişi,
çağrışımları ve anlam alanları gibi birçok öge Doğu ve Batı dünyasında çeşitli boyutlarıyla araştırma konusu edilmiştir. Bunlar
arasında kavram, kelime ve nesne arasındaki ilişkiler de yer almaktadır. Dile ait bu bilimsel disiplinlerin kapsamlı ve geçmişi
bakımından en önemlilerinden biri belagattir. Sözün doğru, güzel, yerinde ve zamanında dinleyicinin durumunu gözeterek
söylenmesiyle ilgilenen belagat, kullandığı malzeme bakımından ve çeşitli yönlerden göstergebilimle örtüşür. Bunda klasik
belagatin ve Batı'daki çalışmaların, Aristo tarafından sistemleştirilen klasik mantıktan beslenmesinin payı vardır. Bu
çalışmada İslam mantıkçılarının üzerine eğildiği delalet kavramı ile Saussure ve Peirce'in üzerinde durduğu gösterge kavramı
ele alınacaktır.

The language that is apparent with symbolic presents the way of thinking, and the view of universe and its factors the
individual use. The language, therefore, accompanies the life by speaking out and speaking to the society. The man who
builds the meaning reproduces it by speaking the language. This occurs only through the linguistic signs. Various elements
such as the thing that the sound transforms into speech, its phraseology, its association, and lexical field have been
research matter in the Eastern and Western World. The relationships among the notion, word and object are also included.
One of the most important scientific disciplines related to the language in terms of its extend and past is the eloquence. The
eloquence concerning the usage of the speech truly, well, appropriately, timely by looking out for the listener’s situation
matches up with the semiotics in terms of the materials it uses. The fact that classic eloquence and studies in the West are
fed from the classic logic methodized by Aristotle contributes to it. In the study, the notion of the Islam logicians concern,
and the notion of sign Saussure and Pierce concern are searched.
