Geleceğin mimarları olan öğretmenlerin sosyal sorumluluk bilincinin gelişmiş olması, mesleki yaşamlarında sosyal sorumluluk ve topluma hizmet duygusuyla hareket etmelerini sağlayacak ve bu bilincin farkındalığı öğrencilerine de yansıyacaktır. Bu nedenle öğretmen adaylarının henüz eğitim sürecindeyken sosyal sorumluluk bilincinin oluşturulması ve geliştirilmesi oldukça önemlidir. Böylelikle öğretmen adaylarının toplumsal sorunların çözümüne, toplum sorunlarına karşı duyarlılık kazanmasına, sorumluluk bilinci duymalarına ve toplumsal kalkınmaya katkı sağlamalarına yardımcı olunabilir. Araştırmada devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerinin, eğitim fakültelerinin öğrenci adayları, öğrencileri ve diğer kullanıcılar için sundukları web sitelerinin fonksiyon ve özelliklerinin tespit edilmesi ve bu web sitelerinin topluma hizmet uygulamaları boyutunda değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında Yükseköğretim Kurulu’na bağlı Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi’nin 2015-2016 üniversite tercih kılavuzunda devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerine bağlı toplam 95 eğitim fakültesinin, web sitelerinin kullanımı ve sosyal sorumluluk projeleri web sitesi içerik analizi yöntemi ile incelenmiştir.

The fact that the consciousness of social responsibility of teachers who are the architects of the future has developed will cause them to act with a sense of social responsibility and service to the community in their professional lives and the awareness will also reflect on the students. Thus, it is important to develop the awareness of social responsibility in the process of teacher education. In this way, teacher candidates can be better at solving social problems and be more aware of and more sensitive to the social problems and contribute to social development. In the research, it has been aimed to determine the functions and features of the websites of the state and private universities which are offered to the candidate students, current students of the faculties of education and the other users; and it has also been aimed to evaluate these websites in terms of social service practices. The use of websites and social responsibility projects of a total of 95 faculties of education connected to the state and private universities in the 2015-2016 university preference guides of Student Selection and Placement Center affiliated to Turkish Higher Education Council have been examined through the website content analysis research in the scope of research.
