Bu araştırmanın amacı; Kırşehir il ve ilçelerinde görev yapan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin görev yaparken meslekte karşılaştıkları sorunları; Okul yönetimi ile karşılaşılan sorunlar, Okul ve fiziki şartlar ile karşılaşılan sorunlar, Öğretmenlerin aldıkları eğitim yönünden karşılaşılan sorunlar, Öğrenci ve ailesi ile karşılaşılan sorunlar ve Strese neden olan sorunlar bakımından tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2011-2012 eğitim ve öğretim yılında, Kırşehir il ve ilçelerinde görev yapan toplam 84 beden eğitimi öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Doğanay (2006) tarafından geliştirilen “Problem tarama” ölçeği kullanılmış olup, ölçeğin alfa güvenirlilik katsayısı .71’dir. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin analizi bilgisayarda SPSS 15 istatistik paket program ile yapılmış olup, Değişkenler arasında ilişki ve farklarda 0.05 önem düzeyi dikkate alınmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; Beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin meslekte karşılaştıkları sorunların tespitinde puan ortalamalarına göre, tüm alt boyutlarda orta düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Cinsiyet değişkenine göre, Okul yönetimi ile ilgili sorunlar alt boyutunda anlamlı farklılığa rastlanırken, Kıdem değişkenine göre okul ve fiziki şartlar ile ilgili sorunlar ve strese neden olan sorunlar alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to identify the problems faced by physical education teachers, who work in Kırsehir province and its districts, in their day-to-day working in terms of problems faced in relation to School Management, problems in relation to the School and physical conditions, problems in relation to the training received by Teachers, problems in relation to the Students and their families, and problems that lead to stress. The focus group of the study consists of 84 Physical education teachers who work in Kırsehir and its districts during 2011-2012 school year. Within the scope of the study, “Problem screening" scale, which is developed by Doğanay (2006) was used as a tool for data collection, the alpha reliability coefficient of the scale is 71. A package program was used in analyzing the data obtained through the study and 0.05 significance level stood out with regard to relation and differences among variables. In consequence of the study, the problems faced by gym teachers in their day-to-day working are found to be at an average level at all sub-dimensions according to the average points they got from the scale. According to the sex variable, while the problems relating to School Management sub-dimension appear to have a significant difference, there was no significant relationship at sub-dimensions of problems in relation to School and physical conditions, problems in relation to trainings received by Teachers, problems in relation to Students and their families and problems that lead to stress.
