Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim 5. sınıf Türkçe dersinde yaratıcı yazma yaklaşımının yazmaya yönelik tutumlara etkisini tespit etmektir. Çalışma, Denizli ili merkez ilçede bulunan orta sosyo-ekonomik düzeyde bir ilköğretim okulunun 5. sınıflarında bulunan 53 öğrenciyle yürütülmüştür. On bir hafta süren araştırmada, ön test, son test kontrol gruplu deney deseni kullanılmıştır. Deney grubunda (n=27) Yaratıcı Yazma yaklaşımı, kontrol grubunda (n=26) ise Türkçe Öğretim Programı uygulanmıştır. Verilerin elde edilmesinde Susar (2009) tarafından geliştirilen “Yazmaya Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (YAYTÖ) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde t-testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır; 1. Deney grubu ve kontrol gruplarının ön test ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamaktadır. 2. Kontrol grubunun ön test ve son test ortalamalarında anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığı belirlenmiştir. 3. Deney grubunun ön test ve son test ölçümlerinde ortalamalar arasındaki farkın anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür. 4. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının ön ve son test ölçümleri arasında anlamlı bir faklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler ışığında yaratıcı yazma yaklaşımı kapsamında yapılan yazma çalışmalarının yazmaya yönelik tutumu olumlu yönde etkilediği söylenebilir.

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of creative writing approach to attitudes towards writing in the Turkish course in Primary School 5. Grades. This research has been conducted with 53 students of 5th grades who are in the centre of the province Denizli and belongs to a middle socio-economic level primary school. The pre-test and post-test control group experimental design has been used in this 11-week study. The Creative Writing Approach for the experimental group (n: 27) and Turkish Educational Programme has been implemented for the control group (n: 26). "Writing Attitude Scale", developed by Susar (2009), has been used to obtain data. t-test has been used to analyze the data. The following conclusions have been reached as a result of the research; 1-There is no significant difference in the pre-test results of the experimental group and control group. 2- There is no significant difference in the average results of pre-test and post-test in the control group. 3- Significant differences have been detected between the average results of pre-test and post-test in the experimental group. 4-Significant differences have been detected between the average results of pre-test and post-test between the control group and experimental group. In the light of data obtained, it can be said that the creative writing activities affect the writing approach positively.
