Üniversiteler, bilim yuvası olmalarının yanı sıra, ülke kalkınmasının da temel taşlarını oluşturmaktadır. Meslek Yüksekokulları da üniversitelerin gelişimine katkı sağlayan birimler olarak varlığını sürdürmektedir. Bu çalışmada Uşak Üniversitesi Banaz Meslek Yüksekokulu Ormancılık ve Orman Ürünleri programında öğrenim gören öğrencilerinin mesleki uygulama dersleri ile ilgili görüşlerini belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın evrenini, 2017-2018 eğitim–öğretim yılında Uşak Üniversitesi Banaz Meslek Yüksekokulu Ormancılık ve Orman Ürünleri programı kayıtlı öğrenciler arasında kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 116 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu öğrencilere toplam 26 ölçekten oluşan anket uygulanmıştır. Anket çalışması 2 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde 6 soruluk öğrencilerin demografik yapı ile ilgili bilgileri (cinsiyet, yaş, mezun olunan lise türü, sınıfı, programı tercih etme durumu ve okunan programın tercih edilme nedeni), yer alırken, ikinci kısımda ise katılımcıların mesleki uygulama derslerine ilişkin düşüncelerini ortaya koymak için 21 ifade yer almaktadır. Anket soruları oluşturulurken daha önce yapılmış çalışmadan (Koca vd., 2015) yararlanılmıştır. Bu ifadelerin değerlendirilmesinde 5’li likert ölçeği (1: Kesinlikle hayır, 2: Hayır, 3: Fikrim yok, 4: Evet, 5: Kesinlikle evet) tekniği uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS 20.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz ve değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre; öğrencilerin mesleki alanıyla ilgili mesleki uygulama derslerini daha iyi anladıkları, mesleğine olan ilgiyi arttırdığı, mesleki uygulama derslerin gerekli olduğu, mesleki uygulamalarda ders saatlerinin daha fazla olması gerektiği belirtilmiş olup, yine araştırmada öğrencilerin işe yerleştiklerinde mesleki uygulamada edindikleri tecrübe, bilgi ve deneyimlerin faydalı olacağı ve kendilerini daha bilgili ve bilinçli hale getireceği gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.

Universities, as well as being a science nest, are the cornerstones of the development of the country. Vocational Schools continue to exist as units contributing to the development of universities. In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of the students of Uşak University Banaz Vocational School Forestry and Forest Products program regarding the vocational application lessons.The population of this study constitutes 116 students who are identified by easily sampling method among the registered students of the Forestry and Forest Product Departmant of Banaz Vocational School of Uşak University in 2017-2018 academic year. A questionnaire consisting of 26 scales administered to these students. The survey consists of 2 parts. The first chapter 6 question students demographic structure information about ( gender, age, graduated high school type, class, preference for the program, and the preference of the program being read ) while the second part of the participant professional practice classes of the thoughts to demonstrate 21 expresion located. The preparation of the survey questions was without previos works. (Koca etc., 2015). A 5-point likert scale technique was applied to evaluate these expression and obtained data were analyzed and evaluated using the SPSS 20.0 statistical package program 1: Absolutely not, 2: No, 3: No idea, 4: Yes, 5: Absolutely yes) According to the research result, it was determined that the students understood the vocational practice lessons for the vocational field better, that these lessons increased interest in the profession, that vocational prectice courses were necessary and that the lesson hours had to be higher. İn addition the result of the research showed that when the students started to work, the knowledge and experience they had in professional practice would be benefical and make them more knowledgeable and conscious.
