Yüks eköğretim de uzun yıllardır zorunlu olarak okutulmakta olan ortak zorunlu derslere ola n öğrenci ilgisi ve başarısı süre kli
ol a rak ta rtışılmakta ve başarıyı artırmak i çin çe şitli çalışmalar ya pılma kta ve ö ne ri l e r g e ti ri l me k te di r. O rta k z o ru nl u
de rs lerden Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılâp Tarihi dersi ile toplumsal ta rih bilinci oluşturulması amaçl anmakta, Türk D i l i d e rs i i l e
a na dilimizin doğru ve güzel kullanımının sağlanması hedeflenmekte, Yabancı Dil dersi il e d e e n a z b i r ya ba ncı l i s a n i l e
i l etişim kurma becerisi oluşturulmaya çalışılmaktadır. Bu ça lışmada Hacettepe Ünive rsitesi Mühendislik Fak ültesi ve İktisa di
ve İda ri Bilimler Fakültesi’nden seçilen i ki bölüm ile yi ne Hacettepe Üniversitesi’nden bir Me slek Y ü ks e k ok ul u p i lo t o kul
ol a rak s eçilmiştir. Seçilen bu eğitim programındaki öğrencilere ortak zorunlu derslerle ilgili çe şitli sorular s oru lmuş ve başarı
durumları ile derslere olan ilgileri ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca l isans ve ön l isans öğrencilerinin başarıları karşılaştırılmıştır.

s onuçlar ışığında öğrencilerin ortak zorunlu derslerle ilgili görüşleri devl etimizin ye tkili k u rum l arı n ca d e ğ e rl e ndi ri l e r ek
yöne ti ci, eğitimci, öğrenci işbirliği ve ölçme-değerlendirme ça lışmaları ile giderilmeye ça lışılmalıdır.

The interest and success of the students on compulsory courses which have been mandatory in higher education for ma ny
years , are constantly being discussed and various studies are being carried out and suggestions are made to increase th e
success. Ataturk's Principles and Revolution History lesson aims to create a social history awareness in common compulsory
lessons, aiming to provide correct and beautiful use of our mother tongue with Turkish La nguage l es so n an d tryi ng to
es tablish the ability to communicate with at least one foreign language with Foreign Language lesson. I n th i s s tu dy, two
departments s elected from the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Hacettepe University and a vocational high school from Hacettepe University were s elected as pilot units. The s tudents in this selected
educational programs were asked various questions about the common compulsory courses a nd tried to me asu re th e
success status and the interest in the classes. Also the successes of associate’s degree and und ergrad uate s tu dents are
compared. As a result of the studies on the questionnaires, it is understood that th ere are man y p ro blems re lated to
common compulsory courses. At the beginning of these problems, these lessons seem to be insigni f icant a nd s uf ficient
interest cannot be achieved. In the light of these and s imilar results, the opinions o f th e s tuden ts a bou t th e common
compulsory courses should be evaluated by the competent institutions of our s tate and should be tried to be solved by th e
supervisor, educator and student collaboration evaluation s tudies.
