Ahmedî 14. yüzyılın önde gelen şairlerden biridir. Kişiliği ve eserleriyle dikkati çeken bir şairdir. Ahmedî güçlü bir şair
olduğunun bilincindedir. Şair şiir anlayışını mahlas beyitlerinde daha belirgin bir şekilde dile getirmiştir. Mahlas beyitlerinde
şiir ve şair üzerine düşüncelerinin temelinde “söz” vardır. Yaptığımız incelmede şiir ve ona yakın kavramların tespiti yapıldı ve
“söz” kavramının “inci” anlamında kullanıldığı görüldü. Klasik şairler sözün değerine odaklanır ve onu inciye benzetir. Şairin
söz söylemesinin sebebi sevgilisidir. Sevgilinin muhteşem güzelliği, şiirin güzel olmasındaki temel etkendir. Sözün; açık, ince,
nazik, tatlı, ölçülü, olgun, parlak, süslü, renkli, gösterişli, güzel, saf, temiz, duru ve taze gibi özellikleri vardır. Sözün, insanları
etkileme yönüyle büyülü özelliği de vardır. Şair, şiir ile ilgili belagat, fesahat, kelam, beyan gibi ilimleri de bilmek zorundadır.
Şair mahlas beyitlerinde divan, defter, lügat, kitap gibi kavramları çağının anlayışına göre kullanır. Ahmedî, etkilediği ve
etkilendiği şairleri, şiirinin etki alanlarını mahlas beyitlerinde dile getirmiştir. Şair, hikmetli söz söyleme konusunda kendisini
Yunan filozoflarıyla kıyaslar. Ahmedî’nin iddialı bir şair olduğunu her mahlas beytinde görmek mümkündür. Şair, mahlas
beyitlerinde beğendiği ve beğenmediği şairler, şiirlerinin yayıldığı yerler, bölgeler ve ülkeler, kullandığı araçlar hakkında
düşüncelerini ifade ederken şiirde iddialı olduğunu göstermiştir.

Ahmedî is one of the leading poets of the 14th century. He is a poet who draws attention with his personality and works.
Ahmedî is aware that he is a strong poet. The poet expresses his poetry understanding more clearly in pseudonym couplets.
Mahlas couplets are the “word” on the basis of their thoughts on poetry and poet. In our study, the poetry and the concepts
close to it where determined and it was seen that the term “word” was used in the meaning of “poetry”. Classic poets focus
on the value of the word and make it look like a pearl. The reason why the poet speaks is his lover. The magnificent beauty
of the lover is the main factor in the poetry being beautiful. The word; It has features such as clear, thin, gentle, sweet,
restrained, mature, bright, fancy, colorful, flamboyant, beautiful, pure, clean, clear and fresh. The word also has a magical
feature in terms of influencing people. The poet must also know the sciences related to poetry such as rhetoric, dissent,
speech and declaration. The poet uses the concepts such as divan, notebook, dictionary and book in his pseudonym couplets
according to the understanding of his age. Ahmedî expresses his influenced and influenced poets, his poetry's influence in
pseudonym couplets. The poet compares himself to the Greek philosophers in speaking wisdom. It is possible to see in every
pseudonym that Ahmedî is an ambitious poet. The poet showed that he was assertive in poetry while expressing his thoughts
about the poets he liked and disliked in the pseudonym couplets, the places, regions and countries where his poems were
spread, and the tools he used.
