Bu araştırmanın amacı, lise öğrencilerinin mükemmeliyetçi kişilik özellikleri ve rekabetçi tutumlannın bazı sosyo-demografik değişkenler açısından incelenmesid ir. Araştırma grubu 260'1 kız, 203'ü erkek 463 lise öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak "Çok Boyutlu Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği", "Rekabetçi Tutum Ölçeği", "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, kızların ve erkeklerin mükemmeliyetçi kişilik özellikleri anlamlı bir farklılık göstermezken; rekabetçi tutumun cinsiyet değişkeninden etkilendiği tespit edilmiştir. Mükemmeliyetçilik ve rekabetçi tutum öğrencilerin sahip olduktan kardeş sayısı değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemiştir. Bulgular, hem ükemmeliyetçilik hem de rekabetçi tutumun okul türü değişkeninden etkilendiğine işaret etmektedir.

The aim of the study is to examine the perfectionism and competitive attitudes in high school student sample in related to some certain socio-demographical variables such as gender, school type and number of sibling. The sample of the study consists of 463 high school students (260 female, 203 male). "Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale", "Competitive Attitudes Scale" and "Demographic Information Form" were used to collect data. According to the findings of the research, there is no significant difference between male and female students with respect to sub-dimensions of perfectionism, but there are significant gender differences in terms of competitive attitudes. No difference has been observed in perfectionism and also competitive attitudes scores in terms of the number of sibling variable. Both perfectionism and competitive attitudes scores revealed that there are significant differences in terms of school type.
