Məqalə XX əsdə Amerikanın böyük yazıçısı U.Faulknerin trilogiyasından və bu trilogiyaya daxil olan romanların əsas bədii-estetik konsepsiyası kimi zaman və insandan bəhs edir. Zaman, Fokner romanlarının başlıca estetik xüsusiyyətlərindən biri olaraq qalır. W.Faulknerin görə onun əsərlərindəki hadisələrin və obrazların təkamülü və inkişafında məhz zaman və məkan anlayışları böyük rol oynayır. Məqalədə, zaman məfhumu, həm də mürəkkəb üslubun yaranmasının əsas məqsədi kimi çıxış edir və həmin anlayışın müəllifin yazdığı yalnız üçlüyünün deyil, eləcə də, əvvəlki əsərlərinin də xarakterik xüsusiyyətlərinin formalaşmasında funksional rolu olduğu aşkar olunur.

The article deals with the trilogy of the great American writer W. Faulkner in the twentieth century and time and man as the main artistic and aesthetic concept of the novels included in this trilogy. Time remains one of the main aesthetic features of Faulkner's novels. According to W. Faulkner, the concepts of time and space play an important role in the evolution and development of events and images in his works.In the article, the concept of time is also the main goal of the complex style, and it is found that this concept has a functional role in the formation of not only the trilogy of the author, but also the characteristics of his previous works.
The article analyzes the concept of time in connection with another important literary and philosophical concept, the concept of man. The article analyzes the contradiction between time and man and the impact of these two concepts on humanity.
