Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de şema terapi ile ilgili hazırlanmış lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesidir.
Bu amaç doğrultusunda Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu (YÖK) Ulusal Tez Merkezi üzerinden ‘’şema
terapi’’ anahtar kavramı ile lisansüstü tezler listelenmiştir. Araştırmada incelenen tezler 2007-2022
yılları arasında hazırlanan 4 doktora tezi, 25 yüksek lisans tezi olmak üzere toplam 29 tezden
oluşmaktadır. Tezler, tezin türü, yayımlandığı yıl, hazırlandığı üniversite, hazırlandığı ana bilim
dalı, çalışılan değişkenler, kullanılan yöntem veya desen, tezin çalışma grubu veya örneklemi ve
kullanılan istatistiksel yöntemlere göre doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmiştir.
Bulgulara bakıldığında şema terapi ile ilgili tezlerin çoğunlukla yüksek lisans tezi olduğu, şema
terapi ile ilgili en fazla 2019 ve 2020 yıllarında tez çalışması yapıldığı, bu konuda en fazla tezin
Hacettepe Üniversitesi bünyesinde hazırlandığı, tezlerin çoğunlukla klinik psikoloji ana bilim
dalında hazırlandığı, tezlerde çoğunlukla bilimsel araştırma yöntemi olarak nicel araştırma türü ve
nicel araştırma modeli desenlerinden ilişkisel tarama deseninin kullanıldığı, çalışma grubu olarak
tezlerde çoğunlukla yetişkinlerin ve üniversite öğrencilerinin yer aldığı, tezlerde çoğunlukla erken
dönem uyum bozucu şemalar ve şema sürdürücü başa çıkma davranışları değişkenlerinin
incelendiği, istatistiksel olarak t-testi ve pearson momentler çarpım korelasyon katsayısı analizinin
sık kullanıldığı ortaya çıkmıştır.

The aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses about schema therapy in Turkey. For
this purpose, postgraduate theses with the key concept of "schema therapy" are listed through the
National Thesis Centre of the Council of Higher Education. The theses examined in the research
consist of 29 theses totally, including 4 doctoral theses and 25 master's theses, which were written
between 2007 and 2022. Theses were examined by using document analysis method according to
the type of the thesis, the year it was published, the university it was prepared, the department it
was prepared, the variables studied, the method or design used, the study group or sample of the
thesis, and the statistical methods used. When the results were examined, it was found that the
majority of the dissertations on schema therapy were prepared in 2019 and 2020, the majority of the
dissertations on schema therapy were prepared at Hacettepe University, the majority of the
dissertations were prepared at the Clinical Psychology Department, and the majority of the
dissertations were scientific research. It has been observed that the quantitative research type and
the relational screening design, one of the quantitative research model designs, are mostly used as
scientific research methods in the theses, and mostly adults and university students are included in
the theses as the study group. It was revealed that the early maladaptive schemas and schemamaintaining coping behaviors were mostly examined in the theses, and statistically t-test and
Pearson-moment product correlation coefficient analysis were frequently used.
