The article is devoted to the research of some protection methods and instruments in the modern conditions for the economic development of countries and to some peculiarities of the historical practice of protectionism. The targets and features of practical implementation of guard policy in the era of mercantilism are analyzed. Great attention is paid to the investigation of the mechanism for the implementation of classical protectionism. The impact factors of practical measures of modern neoprotectionism are indicated, the main methods and instruments of patronizing policy in the terms of economic globalization are determined.

Статья посвящена исследованию методов и инструментов политики протекционизма в современных условиях экономического развития стран и отдельных особенностей исторической практики использования охранной политики. Проанализированы цели и особенности практической реализации охранной политики в эпоху меркантилизма. Большое внимание уделено исследованию специфики методов реализации классического протекционизма. Указаны факторы влияния на практические меры использования современного неопротекционизма, определены основные методы и инструменты политики покровительства отечественному производителю в условиях экономической глобализации.
