Araştırmanın amacı, anne tutumlarına göre 5-6 yaş çocuklarının sosyal-duygusal uyum düzeylerini incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu Denizli ilinin merkez ilçesinde ilköğretim okullarının anasınıflarına devam eden 143 çocuk ve anneleri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak Anne-Babalık Stilleri ve Boyutları Ölçeği (Anne formu) ile Marmara Sosyal Duygusal Uyum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, annelerin tutumlarına göre çocukların sosyal-duygusal uyum düzeyleri farklılaşmaktadır. Yetkeci annelerin çocuklarının sosyal duygusal uyum düzeyleri, yetkeci olmayanlara göre düşük iken, otoriter ve izin verici annelerin çocuklarının sosyal-duygusal uyum düzeyleri otoriter ve izin verici olmayanlara göre düşüktür.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the social-emotional adaptation levels of 5-6
year old children are affected by their mother’s attitude. 143 children attending the
kindergartens of primary schools in the city center of Denizli, and their mothers, established
the sample group for the study. The Parenting Styles and Dimensions Scale (Mother Form) and
the Marmara Social Emotional Adjustment Scale were used as data collection tools in the
study. According to the results of the study, the social-emotional adjustment level of children
differs depending on their mother’s attitude. While the social-emotional level of children of
authoritarian mothers was lower in comparison to those of non-authoritarian mothers, the
social-emotional level of children of authoritative and permissive mothers was lower in
comparison to those with authoritative and non-permissive mothers.
