cinsiyetlerine, meslekteki kıdemlerine, eğitim düzeylerine, okuttukları sınıflara ve sınıf mevcuduna bağlı olarak, değişip değişmediğinin tespiti amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Araştırmada, verilerin toplanması için araştırmacı tarafından, öğretmenlerin Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programındaki etkinliklere ilişkin görüşlerine yönelik Likert tipi anket uygulanmıştır.
Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Manisa ili Soma ilçesi Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı ilköğretim okullarında görevli 4. ve 5.sınıfları okutan öğretmenler; örneklemini ise, Manisa ili Soma ilçe merkezindeki Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı ilköğretim okullarında 17 ilköğretim okulunda görevli, 4 ve 5.sınıfları okutan 95 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır.
Araştırma sonucunda, ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 4.-5. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programına ilişkin görüşlerinin öğretmenlerin cinsiyetine, meslekteki kıdemlerine, okuttukları sınıflara göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği; eğitim düzeylerine ve sınıf mevcuduna göre ise öğretmen görüşlerinde anlamlı farklılık olduğu; bulunmuştur.
Çalışmanın analizinde SPSS 13.0 paket programı kullanılmış. Çalışmada sürekli değer alan değişkenler ortalama, medyan, standart sapma, minimum ve maksimum değerleriyle, kategorik değer alan değişkenler frekans ve yüzde ile gösterilmiştir. Çalışmada değişkenlerin normal dağılıma uygunluğu Shapiro Wilk testiyle test edilmiştir. 2 Normal dağılım göstermeyen sürekli değişkenlerin 2 grup karşılaştırmalarında Mann-Whitney U testi ile, 3 grup karşılaştırmalarında Kruskal Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadaki 40 soruluk ölçeğin güvenirliği için güvenirlik analizi yapıldı ve "cronbach alpha" 0,957 bulunmuştur. Ki bu değer ölçeğin güvenirliğin oldukça yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Çalışmada p değeri 0,05’in altındaki karşılaştırmalar anlamlı kabul edilmiştir.

This research has been made in order to definite the views of 4th and 5th class teachers about Acitivities Of The Social Studies Teaching Curriculum and variation of their views according to their sex, graduation, precedence, the classes they tought and the number of students in their class in 2011 – 2012 education year.
In order to get data, a likert type questionnaire aiming teacher’s view about The Acitivities Of The Social Studies Teaching Curriculum was applied.
The universe of the research is composed by the class teachers working in the primary schools belonged to Ministry of National Education, National Education Directory in Soma, Manisa as teachers of 4 and 5 th classes. On the other hand the sample of the research is composed by randomly chosen 95 class teachers working in formal primary schools belonged to National Education Directory in Soma, Manisa as teachers of 4 and 5 th classes.
As a result of the research, the view of the 4th and 5th classes' teachers working in primary schools about the Social Studies Teaching Curriculum does not change meaningfully according to teachers' sex, graduation, the classes they taught , but it changes meaningfully according to teachers' level of education and the number of students in their classes.

SPSS 13. O software package is used for the analysis of the study. In the research, variables taking permanent value are shown with average, median, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values; variables taking categorical value are shown with frequency and percent. In the research, the suitability of variables to normal distribution is tested with Shapiro Wilk Test. For 2 group comparison of permanent value not showing normal distribution , Mann-Whitney U Test is used; for 3 group comparison Kruskal Wallis Test is used. For the reliability of 40-item scale, reliability analysis is performed, and "Cronbach Alpha" is found 0,957. This value shows that the reliability of the scale is quite high. In the research comparison, P value less than 0,05 , is not accepted as significant.
