In this research the importance of experiment method usage in teaching geography has been tried to explained. Bu araştırmada coğrafya öğretiminde deney metodunun kullanılmasının önemi anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Genellikle coğrafya öğretiminde yanlış yöntemlerin kullanılması nedeniyle, bugün coğrafya hak ettiği değeri görememektedir. Coğrafyanın bir ders, coğrafyacının da bir öğretmen olduğu düşüncesi değişmelidir. Bunu gerçekleştire bilmenin yolu çağdaş öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerinin kullanılmasına bağlıdır. Bu yöntemlerden biri de deney yöntemidir
