The aim of this study is to determine the personal and social adjustment levels and examine whether or not there are differences at the personal and social adjustment levels according to the students’ classroom levels and sexes that are attending to Primary School Teaching Department and Physical Education Teaching Department. 561 students, first and fourth classes from Gazi University, Ahi Evran University and Kastomonu University attending to Primary School Teaching Department and Physical Education Teaching Department have participated in this study. “Hacettepe Personal Inventory” has been used to determine the personal and social adjustment level and “General Information Form” has been used to get information about the students. The obtained data have been determined by means of t-test and two-way variance analysis. In the end of this study it has been found out that there are significant differences between the students’ personal adjustment levels according to their school types, sexes and classroom levels. But it has been also found out that there aren’t any significant differences through personal adjustment average points according to school type and sex and classroom level.

Bu çalışma, sınıf öğretmenliği ile beden eğitimi öğretmenliğinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin psiko-sosyal uyum düzeylerini belirlemek ve öğrencilerin psiko-sosyal uyum düzeylerinin sınıf düzeyine ve cinsiyete göre değişip değişmediğini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya Gazi Üniversitesi, Ahi Evran Üniversitesi ve Kastamonu Üniversitesi sınıf öğretmenliği ve beden eğitimi öğretmenliğinde öğrenim gören 561 birinci ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada öğrencilerin psiko-sosyal uyum düzeylerini belirlemek için “Hacettepe Kişilik Envanteri”, öğrenciler hakkında bilgi edinmek amacıyla “Genel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler t-testi ve çift yönlü varyans analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda okul türü, cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeylerine göre öğrencilerin kişisel uyum düzeyleri arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Ancak, okul türü ile cinsiyet ve sınıf etkileşimine göre ise öğrencilerin kişisel uyum düzeyleri puanları ortalamaları arasında anlamlı fark olmadığı saptanmıştır.
