Bu çalışmada, Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi (BÖTE) Bölümü öğrencilerinin
proje tabanlı yürütülen Topluma Hizmet Uygulamaları dersine yönelik görüşlerini ortaya
koymak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, dersi alan ve araştırmanın örneklemini
oluşturan 40 öğrenciden veri toplamak için, yüz yüze görüşme tekniği ile araştırmacı tarafından
hazırlanan ve 7 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Toplanan
veriler, başlıca örüntüleri belirleme, kodlama ve kategorilere ayırma işlemlerini kapsayan
içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre, öğretmen adayları proje
geliştirdikleri kurumla herhangi bir sorun yaşamamıştır. Ayrıca dersin proje tabanlı işlenmesi
öğrencilerin meslek seçiminde de önemli rol oynamıştır. Araştırmaya katılan 40 öğrencinin 24’ü
öğretmen olmaya, 11’i de yazılımcı olmaya karar verdiğini dile getirmiştir. Bir başka bulguya
göre dersin kişisel anlamda öğrencilere en önemli katkısı, zaman yönetimini öğrenmeleri ve
sınıf arkadaşlarını daha yakından tanıma fırsatı bulmalarıdır. Öğrencilerin derse ilişkin en
önemli eleştirisi ise, proje konularının seçiminde kendi fikirleri ile teknik bilgi ve becerilerinin
dikkate alınmamasıdır. Proje konularının bir dönem önceden alınması, proje gruplarında görev
dağılımının daha demokratik yapılması, derse ilişkin öğrenci önerileri arasında yer almaktadır.
Bu bulguların ve elde edilen sonucun, proje tabanlı uygulamalara ve konuyla ilgili çalışmalara
ışık tutacağı düşünülmektedir

In this study, it was aimed to reveal the views of Computer Education and Instructional
Technologies (CEIT) Department students related to the lesson of Community Service Practices
carried out as project-based. In accordance with this purpose, face-to-face interview method
and semi-structured interview form including 7 questions prepared by the researcher were used
in order to collect data from 40 students included into the sample of the research and taking this lesson. The collected data were analyzed using the content analysis method mainly covering the
pattern determination, coding, and categorization processes. According to the findings of the
study, pre-service teachers have experienced no problems with the institution they developed
their project. Moreover, teaching the lesson as project-based has played an important role for
the students’ choice of profession. Twenty-four of the 40 students participated into the research
mentioned that they decided to become a teacher and 11 to become software developers.
According to another finding, the most important contribution of the lesson to the students
personally was their learning time management and having the opportunity of recognizing
their classmates more closely. The most important criticism of students related to the lesson
was their technical knowledge and skills’ not being considered for the choice of project
subjects. Determining the project subjects before and distribution of tasks in project groups
more democratically were among the suggestions of the students related to the lesson. These
findings and obtained result has been considered to shed light on studies related to projectbased
applications and studies on this subject.
