Araştırmanın amacı, ortaöğretim kurumlarında öğretmen-öğrenci ilişkilerinin sınıf içi, okul
içi ve okul dışı boyutlarda nasıl olduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti
(KKTC)’nde örnekleme alınan 7 okulda gerçekleştirilen araştırmaya 176 öğretmen ve 515
öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, “Öğretmen-Öğrenci İlişkisi Değerlendirme Ölçeği” ile
toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama, bağımsız t-testi, ANOVA ve Scheffe testi
kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin ve öğrencilerin görüşleri arasında sınıf içi,
okul içi ve okul dışı boyutlarda anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlerin kıdemine göre
okul dışı ilişkilere yönelik görüşleri arasında anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu görülmüştür.

The purpose of the current study is to explore how to assess secondary school teacherstudents
relationships in terms of the dimensions called in the class, at school and out of the
school. The study has been conducted in 7 school students with 176 teachers as well as with 515
students in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Data of the study have been collected
using the scale developed by Ipek and Terzi, named as the “Teacher-Student Relationship
Assessment Scale”. Data analysis has been completed using arithmetic mean, independent
t-test, ANOVA and Scheffee test. There is a significant different between the perceptions of the
teachers and students in terms of the dimensions called in the classroom, at school and out of
the school. There are significant differences between the perceptions of the teachers in terms of
the dimension called out of the school according to their seniority.
