Bu çalışma Bayburt Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği 4. Sınıf öğrencilerinin
eğitim, öğretim ve bilim işkolundaki sendikalar ve etkinliklerine ilişkin düşüncelerini ortaya
koymayı amaçlayan tarama modelinde bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2010-
2011 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Bayburt Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği
4. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan 34 (11 kız, 23 erkek) öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada,
araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sorulara
verdikleri cevaplar doğrultusunda kodlama yapılmış ve elde edilen verilerin frekansları
bulunmuştur. Veriler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen
bulgulara dayalı olarak, öğretmen adaylarının sendikalar ve çalışmalarına ilişkin bazı
yanlış bilgilere ve olumsuz düşüncelere sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrenciler genel
olarak sendikaları gerekli bulurken aynı zamanda bu kurumları yalnızca kendi çıkarları için
çalışan örgütler olarak değerlendirmektedirler. Diğer yandan, öğrenciler sendikal etkinlikleri
genel olarak olumlu karşılamakta ancak bunlara doğrudan katılmayı ya da desteklemeyi
düşünmemektedirler.

The purpose of this research is to revealwhat 4th grades students, which study in department
of elementary learning education in Bayburt Education Faculty of Bayburt University, think
about the unions, which operate in the fields of education and science, and their activities.
The population of the study is comprised of 34 students (11 female and 23 male) from 4th grade in department of elementary learning education in Bayburt Education Faculty during spring
term of 2010-2011 academic year. In the study, interviews form that consists of six questions,
developed by researchers to determine students’ thoughts about the unions, which operate in the
fields of education and science and their activities was used. Interview forms were collected, the
encoding was made according to their responses to students. The data were coded and found
frequencies, analyzed with descriptive analysis method. According to answers of the subjects
it is seen that students have some wrong information and impression about trade unions and
their activities. Students think that trade unions are necessity but trade unions are organizations
which work only for their own interests. Students don’t think to attend or support trade union
activities directly.
