Özel yetenek sınavları ile öğrenci alan programlara öğrenci seçiminde kullanılan yerleştirme
puanı hesaplamasındaki alt puan türlerinin ağırlıkları zaman içerisinde büyük değişiklikler
göstermiştir. 2010-2011 Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi resim-iş eğitimi programı özel yetenek sınavına
katılan 305 adaya ait verilerin kullanıldığı bu çalışmanın amacı, ÖSYM’ nin belirlemiş
olduğu alt puan türlerinin yerleştirme puanı üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Bu çalışmada,
yerleştirme puanının hesaplanmasında özel yetenek puanı ağırlığının ÖSYM kılavuzunda yer
alan %75’lik oranda olmadığı, gerçekte ortalama olarak %35’lerde olduğu görülmüştür. Bu
durumun, temelde alt puan türleri arasındaki ölçek farklılıklarından kaynaklandığı tespit
edilmiştir. Alt puan türleri arasındaki ölçek farklılıklarının, her bir alt puan türü T-puanına
çevrilerek giderildikten sonra yeniden hesaplandığında ortadan kalktığı görülmüştür.

The weight of sub-scores which are used in the placement of students in the fine art
programs has changed drastically throughout the years. The purpose of this study is to
investigate the effects of the sub-scores that are set by the Student Selection and Placement
Center (SSPC) on the placement scores in more detail.
Placement sub-scores belonging to 305 candidates who took the 2010-2011 Gazi College
of Education fine arts special aptitude test constituted the data for this study. It was found that the weight of the special aptitude scores on the placement scores was found to be %35 rather
than %75, which was indicated in the 2010 SSCP guidelines. Such departure was due to the
differences in the scales of the sub-scores that are used in the calculation of the final placement
score. It was seen that this problem was resolved when the placement scores were recalculated
after each of the sub-scores were transformed into t-scores.
