Bu çalışmanın amacı, bilgisayar destekli geometri öğretimi yapılan sınıftaki öğrenciler ile
bilgisayar kullanılmayan ortamda işlenen geometri derslerine katılan öğrencilerin matematik
dersi başarılarının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Bu doğrultuda, GeoGebra yazılımı kullanılarak
çeşitli çalışma yaprakları hazırlanmıştır. Bu çalışma yaprakları bir ilköğretim okulunda 17
yedinci sınıf öğrencisine 11 ders saati boyunca uygulanmıştır. Bu süre zarfında 15 kişilik
başka bir sınıfta bilgisayar kullanılmayan bir ortamda derslere devam edilmiştir. Sonuç
olarak, bilgisayar destekli öğretime katılan deney grubundaki öğrenciler kontrol grubundaki
öğrencilere göre daha fazla başarı göstermişlerdir. Uygulamadan bir ay sonra yapılan izleme
testinin sonuçlarına göre, deney grubu öğrencilerinin bilgilernini kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin
bilgilerine göre daha kalıcı olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.

The purpose of this study is to compare the achievement of the students in a class of
computer assisted geometry instruction with the achievement of the students who participated
in computer-free geometry lessons. For this purpose, several GeoGebra worksheets have been
prepared. These worksheets were applied to 17 seventh grade students for 11 teaching hours in
a primary school. During this time, 15 students took in an environment without any computer
in another classroom. As a result, the students in the computer assisted instruction group
showed higher achievement than those students in the control group. The knowledge of the
experimental group students were more permanent than the control group students’ according
to the results of the permanence test which was done after one month of the application.
