Bu çalışmanın amacı; Türk Eğitim Tarihinde önemli bir yeri olan Köy Enstitülerinin, köye
öğretmen yetiştirme yönünden değerlendirmektir. Çalışmada Köy Enstitülerini hazırlayan
nedenler, bunların kuruluş amaçları, işleyişi ve bu kurumlardan yetişen öğretmenlerin ve
öğrencilerin nitelikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmada Cumhuriyetin ilk döneminde Türk
eğitim sistemi ve bu sistem içinde olan Köy Enstitülerinin yeri ve önemi incelenmiştir. Türk
eğitim sisteminin değerlendirilmesi için Köy Enstitülerinin getirdiği yeni oluşumlar tarihsel
gelişim açısından ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca yüksek öğretmen okullarının Türk eğitim sistemi
içindeki yeri ve önemi de belirtilmiştir. Çalışmada kullanılan yöntem ise, konuyla ilgili yapılmış
literatür taramasıdır. Çalışmanın sonunda ise elde edilen bulgular, Köy enstitüleri modelinin
orijinal ilkelerine bağlı kalınmak şartıyla eğitim ve öğretimin nasıl olması gerektiği konusunda
günümüze ışık tutuğu ve eğitim faaliyetlerinin yanında birçok faydaları da olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Purpose of this study is important in the village on the Turkish Education Institutes, the
village was to evaluate in terms of teacher training. The reasons for the study of Rural Institutes,
the purposes of their establishment, functioning and growing in these institutions focused on the
qualifications of teachers and students. In addition, the first period of the Republic, the Turkish
education system and study of this system were investigated in the place and importance of the
Village Institutes. Turkish Village Institutes in the education system for the evaluation of the
new formations are discussed in terms of historical development. The method used in this study,
literature review on the subject made. At the end of the study findings, the original principles of
the model village kalınmak provided education and training institutes should be about how well
the present light tutuğu and educational activities were also many benefits.
