Makale Özeti: Institutions and businesses are establishments which are constituted by an appropriate combination of production tools such as raw material, machine, human and organization that were gathered with the purpose of accomplishing a set of goals. Management is a group of activity or a social event constituted by two or more people that come together with the purpose of achieving certain goals. The result from which we can conclude from these two definitions is that institutions are composed of a group of people along with the other production factors to accomplish certain goals. Accordingly, these two definitions, business and management, have caused a new science which complement each other to occur. It was examined firstly by Peters and Waterman in America and by Pascale and Athos in Japan. Organizational culture which is also expressed as Corporate Culture, Institutional Culture and Enterprise Culture is “a set of hypothesis resulted positively at a level to prove validity learnt by a certain group during both orientation and internal integration and thereby being learnt to new members as the true way for perceiving, thinking and feeling the programs”. Management also has an obligation to create an organizational climate in which people are motivated for ambitious and efficient working aside from the arrangement of organizational processes. Organizational climate is a general term and hard to explain completely. This concept can be explained by resembling to the definition we make for atmosphere and formation of a region’s climate as a result of the combination of environmental forces. The psychological atmosphere which encloses organization is called organizational climate. In our study, it was concluded by making an applied research on security personnel working under 256 different degrees and positions within the body of İstanbul Security Directorate.
