Bu çalışmanın temel amacı öğretmen adaylarının aile katılımına yönelik tutumlarını ölçmek
amacıyla bir ölçme aracı geliştirmek ve bu ölçeğin geçerlik ve güvenirliğini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla
oluşturulan 36 maddelik deneysel form 298 öğretmen adayına uygulanmıştır. Açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı
faktör analizlerinden sonra ölçek, İşbirliğini destekleyici tutumlar (15 madde) ve İşbirliğini engelleyici
tutumlar (10 madde), alt ölçeklerinden toplamda 25 maddeden oluşan iki faktörlü bir yapı göstermektedir.
Bu iki faktörün birlikte açıkladıkları toplam varyans 43.62’dir. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları; öğretmen
adayı örnekleminde kurulan modelin veriyle yeterli bir uyum gösterdiği (χ²=619.86; sd=274, p.01;
χ²/sd=2.26; SRMR=0.057; RMSEA=0.065; CFI=0.90; IFI=0.90), bu nedenle ölçeğin yapısal geçerliğe sahip
olduğunu göstermektedir. Aile Katılımına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği’nin toplam puan üzerinden iç tutarlık
katsayısı ise .92 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu bulgulardan yola çıkarak ölçeğin, öğretmen adaylarının aile
katılımına yönelik tutumlarını belirlemede geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

The aim of the study is to develop a scale to determine the attitudes of preservice
teachers towards family involvement and to conduct validity and reliability analyses. The trial scale
composed of 36 items, formed with this aim, has been applied to 298 preservice teachers. The scale
consisted of two factors named “Attitudes supporting collaboration-15 items” and “Attitudes preventing
collaboration-10 items” and and a total of 25 items according to the results of exploratory and confirmatory
factor analysis. These two factors explain % 43.62 of the total variance. The results of Confirmatory factor
analysis revealed that the model showed consistency with the data and consequently proved the scale had
structural validity (χ²=619.86; sd=274, p.01; χ²/sd=2.26; SRMR=0.057; RMSEA=0.065; CFI=0.90; IFI=0.90).
The internal consistency coefficient (Cronbach Alpha) of “The Scale of Attitude toward Family Involvement”
was .92. As a conclusion, the scale has enough psychometric features and is a valid and reliable scale that
can be used to examine attitudes of preservice teachers towards family involvement.
