Attacks into undefensıve civilian settlements during wars are prohibited by
several international treatments. Piracy was prohibited in Paris Treatment and
prohibitions for the respects of human and family rights, individual lives and
property rights, religious conviction and rite, and lobting during military occupation
were brought about by La Haye Treatment in 1907.
In spite of all these, a lot of soldiers and brigands were landed into Kale
subdistrict and coastal villages of Antalya, Marmaris, Fenak and several villages of
Ayvacık in Çanakkale by war ships of the Allies. The soldiers killed, injured and
enslaved many peasants and looted their goods and properties.
