EJESS [European Journal of Educational & Social Sciences] was established in May 2016. We intend to contribute to the interdisciplinary sciences by publishing a new online international peer-reviewed scientific journal titled as “European Journal of Educational and Social Sciences.” The journal is of interest to researchers, academics, and those people concerned with mediating research findings to practitioners.
Focus & Scope
The aim of our journal is to present original research on educational and social sciences in an interdisciplinary perspective covering sociology, education, psychology, politics, theology, anthropology, literature, linguistics, philosophy, history, human geography etc. Research juxtaposing interdisciplinary perspectives are highly welcomed.
Language: The language of the journal will be English and Turkish.
Section Policies
EJESS supports open access policy, so that every article published online can be accessed without any restriction or subscription. Open access is based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and scientific contribution.
EJESS accepts manuscripts, book reviews or translation texts for publication. As soon as the editorial team receives the submissions, two reviewers are assigned. Our journal uses double-blind review process, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers. All reviewers evaluate the manuscript in terms of originality, methodology and its contributions to the field.
Publication Frequency: EJESS intends to publish two issues a year, in October and May.
Archiving: This journal intends to use the LOCKSS system to create a file system distributed among the participant libraries and it allows them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration, through OJS, soon.
