This study aims to examine students’ perceptions on the learning environment of Integrated Living Skills Subject and its relation with students' practical skills. The survey was conducted to 310 form two students which are taking Integrated Living Skills subject from five secondary schools in the central zone of Shah Alam, Selangor. Respondent were selected by simple random sampling technique. The data were obtained based on the questionnaires from the survey. Then, the data were analysed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson Correlation. The results showed that respondents had a good perception toward learning environment of Living Skills subjects (M = 3.77, SD = 0.40). From the data analysis, the findings showed that students' practical skills were high at 3.96 and standard deviation 0.51. The Pearson Correlation Test also shows the significant relationship between the learning environment of Integrated Living Skills Subject and students' practical skills (r = 0.575, p <0.01). Hence, the finding explains respondents who have good perceptions towards learning environment of Integrated Living Skills subject are also highly skilled in practicing.

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau
persepsi pelajar terhadap persekitaran pembelajaran
Kemahiran Hidup Bersepadu (KHB) serta
hubungannya dengan kemahiran amali pelajar.
Tinjauan telah dijalankan ke atas 310 orang pelajar
KHB tingkatan dua di lima buah Sekolah Menengah
Kebangsaan di zon tengah Shah Alam, Selangor.
Responden dipilih secara persampelan rawak mudah.
Data diperolehi berasaskan soal selidik daripada kajian
berbentuk tinjauan. Seterusnya, data dianalisis dengan
menggunakan frekuensi, peratusan, min, sisihan piawai
dan Korelasi Pearson. Hasil kajian mendapati pelajar
mempunyai persepsi yang baik terhadap persekitaran
pembelajaran (M= 3.77, SP= 0.40) bagi mata pelajaran
Kemahiran Hidup. Daripada analisis data, dapatan
menunjukkan tahap kemahiran amali pelajar adalah
tinggi iaitu 3.96 dan sisihan piawai 0.51. Ujian Korelasi
Pearson menunjukkan hubungan antara persekitaran
pembelajaran dengan kemahiran amali pelajar adalah
signifikan (r= 0.575, p < 0.01). Justeru, dapatan ini
menunjukkan pelajar yang berpersepsi baik terhadap
persekitaran pembelajaran matapelajaran KHB juga
berkemahiran amali yang tinggi
