An individual has interaction with the surroundings and tries to find a place for her/himself in the society
from the time he/she is born. He wants to get involved in a group, to find acceptance, to like the people around and to
be liked by them. For his, he has to learn the rules of the society he is living in and obey them. He learns these rules
up to school age within the family and the surroundings. One of the duties that educational institutions have is to
educate a child as a good citizen. Examining our educational program, we can see that the lesson that gives students
this knowledge and behavior is Social Sciences. For these reasons, the main goal of this study is the availability of
drama method that students are active in through social sciences lessons.

Kii doduu andan itibaren, çevresi ile etkileim içine girer ve toplumun içinde kendine yer aramaya
balar. Bir gruba ait olmak, kabul görmek, çevresindeki kiileri sevmek ve onlar tarafından sevilmek ister. Bunun
içinde yaadıı toplumun kurallarını örenerek bunlara uyum salamak zorundadır. Bu kuralları okula balama
yalarına kadar ailesinde ve sosyal çevresinde örenir. Okullama ile birlikte eitim kurumlarının üstlenmi
oldukları görevlerden biride çocuu iyi bir vatanda olarak yetitirmektir. lköretim programımız incelendii zaman
bu bilgi ve becerilerin kazandırılmaya çalııldıı ders olarak karımıza Sosyal Bilgiler dersi çıkmaktadır. Bu
nedenlerden dolayı örencilerin aktif olduu drama yönteminin sosyal bilgiler derslerinde kullanılabilirlii bu
çalımanın temel amacıdı
