Bu çalışma, öğretmenler için web 2.0 araçlarını kullanım alanlarına uygun olarak sınıflamak ve bu araçların kullanılması ile edinilecek faydaları belirlemek için hazırlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; Web 2.0 araçlarının özelliklerini, etkilerini ve kullanım alanlarını belirlemektir. Web 2.0 araçları sekiz farklı sınıfta gruplandırılmıştır. Sekiz farklı grup için eğitsel amaçlara uygun internetten ulaşılabilecek ve eğitimde rahatlıkla kullanılabilecek program örnekleri verilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, web 2.0 teknolojilerini kullanmanın sosyal yapılandırmacılık kuramları tarafından nasıl desteklendiği ve eğitsel anlamda öğrenci, öğretmen ve sınıf ortamı açısından yararları tespit edilmiş ve tartışılmıştır.

This study provides a framework for teachers about the web 2.0 technologies. The purpose of this study is to investigate the properties, effects and importance of the web 2.0 tools considering the relevant, recent and significant collection of articles. Web 2.0 tools were categorized into 8 main themes. Easily accessible and educationally useful programs were exemplified according to these 8 main themes. In addition to these, how social constructivist theories are in congruence with the web 2.0 tools were discussed and the advantages of using these programs for students, teachers and classroom environment were determined and reported.
