The concept of due diligence can be defined as the study and solution of experienced
specialists of various spheres of economic science issues that require special knowledge in the field
of economy, science, technology, arts and crafts. Issues addressed during the forensic examination
of the production are quite varied. They relate both to questions of narrow specialization of
organizations of certain economic activities, and the formation of the accounting (financial)
statements.

В настоящее время финансовая сфера может быть подвергнута криминализации.
Причины этого могут быть разнообразны: общеэкономические условия, финансовая,
политическая нестабильность и т.д. Поэтому одной из целей государственной политики
должно стать усиление финансового контроля, борьба с правонарушениями в финансово-
экономической деятельности, в том числе и с помощью применения специальных знаний в
области финансов, бухгалтерского учета и экономики, то есть судебно-экономической
экспертизы.
